The Studio.
Grahame Chaseling. Maker. is a collaborative studio working across copper, brass and timber, creating bespoke architectural pieces and handcrafted objects.
Based in Woolgoolga on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, each piece is designed and made in-house, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary form.
Grahame Chaseling - Maker.
Grahame is a qualified fitter and machinist, with decades of experience across sheet metal fabrication, blacksmithing and joinery.
His work focuses on bespoke copper and brass entrance doors, combining metal with Australian hardwood joinery to create pieces that are both functional and enduring.
Each project is approached as a one-off, developed in response to the client, the space and the materials themselves.
Emma Harris - Artist.
Emma is a multidisciplinary artist whose work draws on the Australian landscape and wildlife, developed through a lifelong connection to her natural surroundings.
Working closely with Grahame and their clients, Emma translates ideas into detailed etched artwork, bringing a narrative layer to each piece.
Her work is integral to the studio’s process, shaping pieces that are both personal and highly considered.
A Collaborative Practice
A Collaborative Practice
Together, Grahame and Emma work across material and artwork, combining technical precision with creative expression. Each piece is developed through close collaboration, resulting in work that is both structurally refined and deeply personal.
All work is made to order using high-quality materials selected for durability and longevity. Designed to age over time, each piece develops its own character through use and environment.
