The Artist.
Born in New Zealand, Emma Harris moved to Perth as an infant, and as she grew, so did her fascination for her natural surroundings. As a child and teenager, Emma particularly loved the long beaches, exploring native forests, and rugged coastal heath. With a growing interest in bird life, marine life and the natural fauna of Western Australia, Emma began to express this fascination at a very young age through art. From these early beginnings, Emma’s work continues to be strongly characterized by multi-media representations of Australia’s natural beauty.
Today Emma has become renowned for her artwork across many genres, but particularly her developed skill in the process of bespoke metal etching. Whether translating artwork dear to clients to etching, or creating original artwork to clients specifications, Emma is without equal in this unique art form.
